Mike Martiros, originally from Leicester, MA has worked for Mitsubishi Electric for the past 12 years as a service technician. He has a background in repairing electronics and had owned his own business doing so before he worked in Manufacturing Automation for 15 years prior to his current role.

How did you find Mitsubishi Electric and start working in critical power?
“I was working in the Manufacturing Automation industry for 15 years. My company was going out of business and I found Mitsubishi. It’s been a great career ever since.”
In your opinion, what sets our Field Service team apart?
“I would have to say the teamwork and camaraderie we share. We help each other 24/7. We are a true team!”
In what ways has the critical power industry changed since you’ve started?
“The explosion of new data centers is amazing.”
What do you think will change in the next few years?
“The market for storage will continue to grow. This is a great industry to be in.”
What advice would you give to a facility manager?
“Stick with Mitsubishi OEM for service. We are the best suited and the most knowledgeable on our products.”
What is something that people may find surprising or interesting about working in critical power?
“Just how big of a market there is for this.”
What sets Mitsubishi apart from other brands in the industry?
“Reliability and customer service. Mitsubishi UPS’s very rarely have any issues. We have top notch service people for service.”
What is something you are passionate about outside of work?
“I am a Motorcycle enthusiast, I like to play guitar, [and] I enjoy outdoor activities.”
What is the best advice you have received?
“You can do anything if you really want it! But you have to do the footwork."
