Lower critical power loads, same high performance
With the DiamondPlus® 1100 Series of Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Mitsubishi Electric quality and reliability extends out beyond the facility's utility power room. Perfect for server rooms, network closets, and control rooms, Mitsubishi Electric's DiamondPlus® models provide high performance power protection for lower but still critical loads. Hot swappable power modules provide maximum flexibility for expansion as well as rapid maintenance and repair.
Perfect for server rooms, network closets, and control rooms, Mitsubishi Electric’s 1100 Series UPS models provide high performance power protection in a compact and expandable format.
Both the 1100A (10-50 kVA) and the 1100B (50-80 kVA) have modular designs, allowing for additional power modules to be added at a later date. Each is upgradeable in 10 kVA increments.
The DiamondPlus® 1100's power modules are hot swappable for maximum flexibility and rapid mean time to repair (MTTR). This means that it is possible to switch out modules without needing to take the UPS offline, which will expedite the process of repairs and reduce your electrician costs.
As UPS systems are often viewed as one of the biggest culprits regarding energy loss in power distribution, it makes sense to consider efficiency, along with reliability, as a primary factor in the selection of a UPS.
Through its history of technological developments, Mitsubishi Electric has proven to be a leader in advancing efficiencies to unprecedented levels. Beginning with the use of IGBTs for converters and inverters and 3 level topology and followed by the promotion of transformerless designs, Mitsubishi Electric has long been at the forefront of offering Uninterruptible Power Supplies with the highest efficiencies available coupled with unparalleled reliability. Mitsubishi Electric's superior expertise in optimizing power device control is evident by the flatness of the resulting curve, demonstrating high efficiency across all load levels. Please note that all efficiency curves published on this site are for the respective UPS operating in true online double conversion (aka VFI).
While the UPS is the most critical piece of infrastructure in a data center, the DC power backup storage system that supports the UPS is not far behind.
We offer various DC power solutions, and provide information on VRLA battery cabinets in the Peripherals section below.
